Connect a Million Minds
In November 2009, Time Warner Cable launched Connect a Million Minds (CAMM), a philanthropic commitment of $100 million cash and in-kind donations. This five-year program was designed to inspire students to pursue learning opportunities and careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
This site works to connect young people with after school opportunities in their communities that will lead to the betterment of their science, technology, engineering, and math knowledge. The free registration involves making a commitment to linking appropriate students to appropriate community opportunities. After registering, teachers are linked to opportunities in their areas. Teachers are encouraged to create links to opportunities they know about. You can save opportunities you are interested in and also share them with other educators and parents. This is a growing site.
